The Super Mario Mini Deluxe Playset steps up with a larger themed environment for the 2.5-inch Mario figures, adding more interactive elements and a wider footprint. Jakks Pacific positions the Deluxe sets as the centerpiece of the World of Nintendo small-scale line, with more playable surfaces and scenery details than the entry-level Mini Basic. The set is sized to anchor a Mario play scene on a desk or coffee table without needing the floor space that the largest Nintendo playsets demand, from Jakks Pacific. Recommended for ages 3+ Years Larger Mini-scale playset with more interactive features than the Basic Compatible with the 2.5-inch Super Mario figure line Mario fans building out their figure collection will find the Deluxe set adds enough environment and detail to make staged play feel more like a real scene from the games. Parents looking for a step up from a basic figure-and-floor-tile combo will appreciate that the Deluxe size still works on a kitchen table without taking over a whole room, which is sometimes a problem with full-size playsets. The Deluxe footprint also makes the set work well as a gift centerpiece, since the larger box opens to reveal a more impressive scene than a basic figure-and-accessory pack would deliver. The play value also extends across multiple kids playing together, since there is more surface area for staging different characters.
